Becoming A Member of The Newcastle District Chess Association

NDCA memberships run annually from, 1st January to 31st December.

When you join the NDCA, you will also be joining the New South Wales Chess Association (NSWCA), which provides players the benefit of being able to play in other chess tournaments organised in NSW and you will also be provided with an Australian Chess Federation rating (once you have completed 10 competitive NSWCA games) – this includes rated tournaments held by the NDCA.

 

• $50 - Full Adult Membership: For adults who are employed.
•   $40 supports the NDCA.
•   $10 for the joining fee as a country member of the NSWCA.

 

• $40 - Student / Pensioner Membership: For currently enrolled students and other limited income members.
•   $30 supports the NDCA.
•   $10 for the joining fee as a country member of the NSWCA.

 

• $5 Casual Player Fee: For players that elect not to join the NDCA but wish to come along and play social chess occasionally.

There are 2 easy ways for players to join and become members of the NDCA:

 

• Visit Wests City Club personally on a Tuesday evening, or enter one of our weekend tournaments, and ask an NDCA Officer at that time for a NSWCA Membership Form and pay your appropriate fee in cash in person.
